Alaina is also an angel investor, a Venture Partner at Valor Ventures, and a CodePath Advisor.

Lidia Marcinkowska-Bartkowiak, Executive Director for Communications at KGHM, will provide a similar perspective on diversity, inclusion, and global mobility for women in Central Europe.
Astri Kimball Van Dyke, DC-based Senior Counsel of Government Affairs at Google, will share and demonstrate the skills it takes to work at the legal intersection of government and one of the world’s largest companies.
Our Summit will also feature influential women from outside the private sector. These will include Anastasia Xenias, Senior International Trade Specialist and Global Team Leader at the U.S. Department of Commerce, as well as Nancy Ploeger, Co-Founder of the IWEC Foundation.
We are especially honored to also be hosting the founders of two important Central European startups. Johanna Joch, founder of Speechagain, a cloud-based digital stuttering therapy program that helps people who stutter by utilizing artificial intelligence and speech recognition analysis; and Ivana Hronova, founder of Travel A la carte, a simple and user-friendly travel application that allows users to book an entire trip all on one platform with only one payment.
Business leaders from Fortune 500 companies and more than 300 individuals representing governments, and international associations supporting women in business are expected to attend on October 17.
