As an economic attaché, Judit is engaged in developing business relationship between Hungary and the United States. She is focused on realizing the Government’s priorities by getting more foreign direct investments into Hungary and also facilitating export of small and medium size companies. Since taking this office Judit has been working closely with USA business communities, companies and government stakeholders.
Judit has a strong investment promotion background. Prior to being posted to the USA, she has been working for the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) and its predecessors, being responsible for investment projects coming from a wide range of foreign countries and representing a variety of sectors. Judit started her career as a consultant in 2005 and from 2010 she became head of department for Incentives and After Care and later head of department of Knowledge Based Projects. She has been working very closely with a lot of multinational companies managing their investment projects from the decision making phases throughout their implementation. She also did after care of investments.
Judit is an economist; she is a graduate of Budapest Business School, College of International Management and Business Studies and College of Modern Business Studies (Budapest). She has a family, a 7 year-old boy and she is a long-distance runner.
